WELCOME BACK TO A NEW YEAR!!

I am looking forward to a great new school year in Art.  I hope you are ready to get down and messy. We will cover everything from drawing, color theory, sculpture, pastels, collage, printmaking and so much more. I am looking forward to seeing what new inspiring artist I will have this year. I love to paint with acrylic and watercolor!!!  I hope to inspire and mold new artists in the making.  I know everyone is not a Picasso or a Michelangelo, but there is an artist in everyone!!!!

This is my 29th year to teach Art and my 16th at White Oak High School. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. GO RED RAIDERS and originally from Louisiana so I am a huge fan of LSU also GEAUX TIGERS!  I am also the student council advisor.

Art 1 Supplies

Package of #2 pencils (no mechanical)

Block Erasers

2 Black Sharpies (Fine Point)

1 Black Extra Fine Point Black Sharpie

Ruler

Glue Sticks

Box of Markers

Box of Colored Pencils min. 24 colors (prang, crayola or  scholar prefered but not required)

Hand held pencil Sharpener

2 bottles of craft acrylic- colors of your choice (Brands like Americana, Apple Barrel, etc.) You can find these at Walmart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels. They are normally anywhere from $.50-1.00  **These will be turned into Mrs. Taylor
